Do you want to help us during the River rafting and at the Forsfestival? Then you've come to the right place! The application for beeing a volunteer opens on February 20 and closes on March 3. You can apply HERE.
We have two types of volunteers: river rafting volunteers and festival volunteers. You can choose which type of volunteer you want to be when you apply, how many shifts you’d like to work, and when you can participate! Not sure which position you want to apply for? Don’t worry, you can apply for several! There is also the possibility to combine many volunteer positions if you want to try to be more than one type of volunteer.
River rafting volunteers work during the last day of april and receive a free ticket to a nation's champagnegalop. Being a river rafting volunteer cannot be combined with doing the river rafting. The shifts for river rafting volunteers vary in length and start times. Read more about all the different types of river rafting volunteer positions you can apply for below.
Festival volunteers can work shifts during the Forsfestivalen from April 19 to April 27, setup for the Forsfestivalen from April 14 to April 18, takedown of the Forsfestivalen on April 28, and during preparations for the Forsränningen on April 29. All types of festival volunteers can easily be combined with doing the river rafting, including setup and takedown volunteers for the Forsfestival. As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to try something you've never done before while having a fantastic time! Volunteering does not only give you credit for your CV, it is also a wonderful way to meet new friends. No prior experience is needed! All types of river rafting volunteers and night volunteers during the Forsfestivalen will receive a free ticket to a nation's champagnegalop. Regardless of which type of volunteer you are, you will receive food and drinks during your shift. There will also be a volunteer party to thank all the volunteers in May that you, that you can attend for free if you completed either 2 shifts as a festival volunteer, 1 shift as a river rafting volunteer, or work as a raft-building volunteer. All volunteers must attend the volunteer training either on April 8, which will be in Swedish, or on April 9, which will be in English.
